Company Profile
Intermetal Ltd., was founded in Sharjah, UAE in 1992 to cater to the needs of the Hospitality, Educational and Industrial markets. The company is committed to manufacturing and supplying unique, cost effective and quality contract Furniture, Kitchens, Cabinetry, Doors and Wardrobes and the onsite Coil Coating Lines meet the demands for pre-painted Aluminium, Galvanized and Aluzinc Coils.
The growth of the company is attributed to ongoing commitment to innovative designs, quality, value and customer satisfaction. This has been achieved through our highly skilled in-house Design & Development Team and skilled craftsmen who ensure that each concept is turned into a reality that meets the demands of the market.
Intermetal’s manufacturing plant covers an area of over 400,000 square feet and is fully equipped with CNC Bending and Routing Machines, Robotized Welding, Powder Coating and Chrome Plating Lines, Upholstery, Woodworking and Finishing Lines. Our expansion plan continues with the opening of our new factory located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Divisions
Established in 1992, the Hospitality Furniture Division was created to provide owners and operators with a durable collection of Banquet and Conference furniture. Today the division continues to thrive and Intermetal products can be found worldwide. With the acquisition of Metalen, UK in 2005, Intermetal’s commitment of providing a complete range of ergonomic chairs to meet the requirements of operators, designers and guests was materialized.
Made its debut in 1993 in response to management’s objective of manufacturing a comprehensive collection of both indoor and outdoor contract furniture. The Outdoor Living Collection consists of a wide range of tables, chairs, sofas, loungers and umbrellas all manufactured from quality aluminium, teakwood or rattan and finished off in weather resistant materials. The entire collection is suitable for beach or poolside, inside or out.
Intermetal recognized the gap in quality and durable educational furniture within the region and in 1994, the Educational Furniture Division was set up. Today, the highly skilled in-house design and development team continue to ensure customer satisfaction by developing durable, safe, functional and comfortable furniture suitable for Nursery, Schools, Educational Institutions, Universities and Libraries. A large selection of Multi-Purpose Furniture specifically designed for the educational market is also available.
2001 inaugurated Coil Coat under Intermetal’s umbrella, a highly sophisticated coating plant that coats Aluminium, Galvanized and Aluzinc Coils. To date, three coating lines exist within Intermetal catering to many applications, including roofing, cladding, composite panels, ceilings, window blinds, etc. The production lines coat and laminate polyester, PVDF and Plastisol with embossed textures.
2007 saw the creation of Inter Wood, a highly automated joinery and lamination factory manufacturing a complete range of kitchens, cabinetry, doors and wardrobes. With the latest technology and skilled workers, Intermetal ensures complete customer satisfaction by providing Total Joinery Solutions: design, manufacture, installation.
Intermetal Ltd. continues to evolve, maintaining its progressive philosophy by integrating IM Office in 2010 into its diversified range of furniture products. The Office Furniture Collection consists of executive desks, conference tables, computer desks, reception desks and workstations as well as a wide selection of ergonomic chairs to choose from. Intermetal’s experienced sales engineers and design professionals will organize the workspace to suit the exact needs of the business.
New to the group Intermetal’s Restaurant Collection offers quality crafted wood tables and wood framed stackable chairs. Whether contemporary or classic, these chairs are polished in a variety of wood stain finishes and completed with a wide array of upholstery. These tailor-made chairs complement and furnish your area and assist you to create a space, which conveys your restaurant’s concept best.
